RAAM 2023 LIVE TRACKING
The Dads Honor Ride (DHR) is a cycling campaign to raise awareness and resources for fatherhood charities.
The purpose of the DHR is threefold:
- Highlight the importance of dads in their children's lives.
- Create awareness of the father absence crisis; A leading socio-economic issue our nation faces and how it adversely affects our communities, families and most importantly our children.
- Raise needed funds for Illinois Fatherhood Initiative, 21st Century Dads Foundation and the Special Fathers Network, which supports families raising children with special needs.
This year, the DHR team will tackle the Race Across America (RAAM), the world's toughest bicycle race. For 41 years, RAAM has been challenging ultracyclists from around the globe to push their physical and mental limits to the farthest reaches.
Our four DHR cyclists will relay across the country, starting in Oceanside, CA, on June 17th, spanning more than 3100 miles, climbing 175,000 feet, crossing 12 states, and finishing in Annapolis, MD on June 24th.
